Lab

The lab consists of building an information system for a specific domain. This entails data acquisition, data cleansing, indexing, selection and implementation of a suitable retrieval model, development of a UI, evaluation of search quality, submission of a short written report as well as well-documented source code, and a final presentation.

Successful participation in the lab is a prerequisite to be admitted to the exam.
