Call for Participation

The workshop "Visualization in Environmental Sciences 2026" (EnvirVis 2026) is a co-located event of EuroVis 2026 held in Nottingham, UK, on June 8, 2026. The EnvirVis-Workshop aims to bring together researchers in the area of visualization of geo-scientific, environmental, atmospheric, or climate data to present and discuss recent developments in the field.

As in previous years, you can submit regular papers to the workshop. As a new addition this year, we also invite you to submit Exchange Topics (an extended abstract) to the workshop to discuss or brainstorm a topic of interest with the audience. You should have done some basic research on the topic and specific questions you would like to discuss. Discussions have always been a big part of EnvirVis and we would like embrace that by adding this special discussion format.

Scope

The workshop "Visualization in Environmental Sciences" invites both contributions in the fields of scientific visualization and visual data integration, information design and data storytelling with a broad application area in environmental research, decision-making and public outreach. The proposed scope includes, but is not limited to, the following areas of research

The EnvirVis workshop will be held in conjunction with the EuroVis 2026 Conference, preceding the main conference.
