Public Data
This page provides data sets that are publicly available for research use. It attempts to document, collect and/or reference various CFD and medical datasets, to facilitate research in medical and flow visualization. Most
of the data sets can be easily loaded an viewed with the free visualization system OpenWalnut.
Data Formats
The data sets are provided in one of the formats listed in the following table.
If you have problems converting data between some of the formats do not
hesitate to ask us for help (for contact information see below).

for the copyright and usage instructions for the different data sets.
For medical data sets the subject is indicated by two letters,
e.g. xa and xw. These letters are only faintly related to the
names of the subjects. Data sets in different categories can originate from the
same subject.

Acknowledgement
If you use this data in a publication, you must provide an acknowlegement. As
the data comes from various sources, the acknowledgements differ for the different data
sets. See the README file coming with each data set for the respective acknowledgement.

limitations of the Data, including the fact that the Data is dynamic and is in
