Installation is simple.
Change to the sources directory and
type 'gmake install' on the commandline.

The precompiled binaries are ready to run and can be placed
almost anywhere.

If you don't have a supported system (e.g. the corresponding link
to the Makefile for your system) please edit the Makefile to meet
your needs. It might be that you have to edit the Makefile to change
some path variables.

If you want to install as root, you have to edit the
Makefile anyway. Change the variable 'PREFIX' to point to your
'/usr/local', '/software', '/public', '/opt' or whatever-path.
Currently the variable PREFIX has the same value as your home-directory.

If you install as user the installation would go to your home directory.

Good Luck
